Thomas J. LaBlonde, Jr. founded LaBlonde Homes in 1987 after completing his Masters in International Finance at the American Graduate School of International Business, and subsequently working for several years for a major national builder in Phoenix.  With a long-range strategic plan of building affordable custom homes in the most desirable areas in Scottsdale, LaBlonde launched his new business by building three homes in McCormick Ranch.

New opportunities began presenting themselves in the form of a 21-home development at Scottsdale Country Club, a lake-front community at Scottsdale Ranch, and a cul-de-sac community in McCormick Ranch.  When an invitation to build in North Scottsdale was presented, LaBlonde moved his operations to the prestigious Troon North area and has built approximately 350 homes there.

Custom homes built by LaBlonde Homes can be found in many other world class communities that occupy Scottsdale’s high Sonoran Desert; such as Silverleaf, Estancia, Desert Mountain, The Boulders, Sincuidados, and Troon to name a few.

LaBlonde has built a well respected and well earned reputation of providing great value for a homeowner’s investment.  So much so, that in the 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 editions of Ranking Arizona - The Best of Arizona Business, published by AZ Business Magazine, LaBlonde Homes has been voted by homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, and other business professionals as the #1 custom home builder of 10 or more homes in the entire Phoenix market.
